Swamimalai
Swamimalai is the religious town just on the outskirts of Kumbakonam. Swami meaning Deity and Malai meaning Mountain, it transcribes to the deity venerated at a temple that is atop a hillock. This place is part of the Holy Shrines of Lord Muruga called the Aarupadaiveedu. The importance of this place comes from the Swaminathaswamy Temple where the deity is also popularly known as Lord Karthikeya.

Swaminathaswamy Temple
Perched atop a hill in the Swamimalai district of Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, Swaminathaswamy Temple is enshrined by Murugan, son of the Hindu God Lord Shiva. Located just 3 kms away from the hotel, this temple throngs over thousands of devotees every day. The temple has three gopurams and three precincts, and is considered an architectural marvel as it is said that the construction of the temple dates back to 2 nd Century BC during the Sangam Era, and during the course of time was renovated by the Cholas who reigned the land at that time.

Airavatesvara Temple
Located in the town of Darasuram which is 4 kms from the hotel, Airavatesvara Temple is a highly revered Hindu temple and is also part of the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This temple along with Brihadeeshwara Temple in Thanjavur and Gangaikondacholisvaran Temple in Ganagaikonda Cholaipuram constitute the trio that is popularly known in cultural and artistic circles as the Great Chola Living Temples. This temple was built by the Chola King Rajaraja Chola II around the 12 th Century. It is part of the Eighteen Medieval Era Temples in Kumbakonam area which gave it the moniker of Temple City

Mahamaham Tank
The Mahamaham Tank, located in the town of Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu is considered to be the biggest tank in the whole of Tamil Nadu and is just 8 kms away from the hotel. This place is considered to be one of the most important places to be visited to understand the cultural richness of Tamil Nadu being an architectural marvel in itself. The tank is gulfed with sixteen small shrines, colloquially called Mandapams, where a total of twenty-one wells are present. Similar to the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar, there is a Kumba Mela celebrated every 12 years, where devoted from all over the world come just to take a dip. Established by the Nayak Rulers of Thanjavor,there are many deities which are assigned in the Mandapams which give an identity to it.
